House Rules

1. Sobriety and Drug-Free Environment:

Residents must maintain complete sobriety from drugs and alcohol during their stay at Ezra House. Possession, use, or distribution of illegal substances or alcohol within the premises is strictly prohibited. Possession of any weapons or dangerous objects is strictly prohibited within the premises. Residents must inform the house management about any prescribed medications they are taking. Medications should be kept in a secure location, and residents should not share their medications with others. Residents may be subjected to random drug tests to ensure compliance. Violation of any rules and regulations may result in disciplinary actions, which could include warnings, loss of privileges, or termination of residency at Ezra House.

2. House Curfew & Rent:

Residents must adhere to the designated curfew time set by the house management. Curfew times will be specified and adjusted as necessary for individual needs. Residents must be up at 9am unless special work schedules. Curfew times are 10pm Sunday-Thursday and 12am on Fri-Sat. Requests for exceptions to the curfew must be approved in advance and have a valid reason. Rent must be paid Saturday before 12pm to the house manager or through a specified app or there will be a $25 late fee. Failure to secure employment in 2 weeks is a ground for dismissal. Failure to keep job for 90 days is also grounds for dismissal.

3. Mandatory Meetings and Counseling:

Residents are required to attend support group meetings, counseling sessions, and other therapeutic activities as determined by the house management or their appointed counselors. Active participation in these activities is crucial for personal growth and accountability.Residents are required to attend regular house meetings to discuss house-related matters, address concerns, and offer support to one another..

4. Responsible Behavior:

Residents must treat each other with respect, kindness, and consideration. Any form of violence, harassment, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.Residents are responsible for the security of their personal belongings. Any damages to the property caused by a resident's negligence will be the responsibility of the resident.Residents must respect each other's privacy and maintain confidentiality regarding personal information shared within the house setting.

5. Chores and House Maintenance:

Each resident is responsible for their designated chores and must contribute to the cleanliness and maintenance of common areas. Residents must promptly report any maintenance issues to the house management.Resident must comply with daily chores and bed and personal area must be kept clean at all times. Remember, Ezra House is a place of healing and growth. By adhering to these rules, we can create a positive and supportive environment for everyone on their journey to recovery.

Once approved for the program, a $100 nonrefundable deposit and a weekly program fee of $155 will be required. These fees help us maintain a comfortable, clean, and supportive space where you can focus on your healing and personal development.
